o 9TAGEI High School Administtation Faculty Both boys and girls travel comfortably in jeans and velour or terry knit shirts in a variety of colors and designs. Also popular are Talking T Shirts. Boys care how they look and keep their hair blow-dry styled and neatly cut, perhaps feath- ered into wings and bangs. Both sexes wear the short curly Fro style. Girls wear their hair short and curly or feathered into wings at the side with hair either short or long. With the hair, as with clothes, styles are very flexible. Dress lengths are nearly anywhere from below the knees to ballerina length. The slim skirt with side, front or back slits is popular, and terry or shiny knits are good. The shirt-waist is in. Dresses are feminine and belted. Colors are brighter and bolder than last year ' s dusty tones. The casual look is in for spring — skirts and shirts with bare legs and sandals. Shoes are very feminine and pretty, some with slim, low or medium heels and others with spikes. Ankle straps are popular. The comfort- able Famolare is still a favorite. The pleated, belted pant with slim legs is com- ing back — the baggy look of the 50 ' s. Double-pierced ears and ear rings are still fashionable. The serpentine gold chain worn about the neck is big with boys and girls alike. Digital watches are now competing with the highly accurate Seiko type quartz watch. W m ' fr ' li I H l..
