Teachers found the silent moving picture valuable as an educational aid. Its value was multiplied many times by the addition of sound. The combina- tion of radio and video in television will supplement the work of the teach- er. lt will bring to the classroom ex- periences, materials, or demonstrations that are not readily available to the classroom teacher. Television, a mechanical device, can never replace the reality of the class- room, where one mind meets another to create thought, where a person learns group adiustments, where he can feel the warmth of friendship.
