ADMINISTRATION Dr. Leo C. Donahue Superintendent of Schools A.B., A.M., ED.M., Ph.D., Ed.D., L.H.D., L.L.D. Dr. George K. Coyne Deputy Superintendent of Schools Somerville High, Salem State, Boston College, Staley College, Advanced study at Harvard, Tufts, Boston University B.S.Ed., Ed.M., D.A.O. Dr. Coyne will be retiring in July, 1972, after a life-time experience in the Somerville Public Schools. Dr. Coyne taught at Northeastern Jr. High for five years, was vice-principal of NJHS for three years, was principal of WJHS for twen- ty-seven years, and was Assistant Superintend- ent until 1970, when he bacame Deputy Super- intendent. Dr. Coyne's last thought, as he leaves the career he devoted most of his life to, is I sincerely wish that every boy and girl in our schools may enjoy a life of good health, happi- ness, and success.
