ways remember the exciting Tech Tourneys, the football games, the dances. Talent Night, the Music Department Concert, the crowded lunchroom, and of course the Prom. So, it soon starts all over again. Some of us will go on to college, and some will enter a career despite the same warnings we heard before high school. We are now being told that College is much harder than high school, you know and Wait until you have a boss watching over you every minute. We only hope that the wise will recognize the pattern and will make the change with a more enlightened mind. When we were younger we would look upon a high school student as someone so grown-up and so important that we would stare whenever we saw one walk by. By chance we may have thumbed through one of his books and shuddered at the thought that someday we too would have to lug home so many volumes and spend hours and hours on difficult homework. We were warned in the lower grades that high school was very different and that Your high school teachers will never accept a paper like this or when you go to high school you won't play games, you know. Contemplating running away, we would count with apprehension the months, weeks, and days till high school. But now, dear graduates, the impossible has been ac- complished. We did indeed work hard, and our teachers certainly did not accept a paper like that. However, let no graduate of Somerville High say that he did not enjoy the past three years. The good times we had more than compensated for the agony of too much homework or the shock of a surprise exam. We will al-
