Connor Somerville High School was deeply saddened this ycor on March 1 3 to Icorn of the death, after a brief illness, of Miss Mory M. Connor, who hod been o member of our History Deportment for twenty-two yeors. With a great sorrow we extended our sympothy to her sister, Miss Anno E. Connor, o biology teocher on our faculty Miss Mory Connor prepared for college at Morycliff Acodemy. After graduating from Emmonuel College with a major in history, she received a Master of Arts degree from Boston College. He life exemplified service and devotion, to both her family and her pupils. Young people recognized her sympathetic intrest in their development, not only as a teacher, but also as o Girl Scout leader for scverol years of Somerville Troop 20 and of a Mariner group of Senior Girl Scouts. Her cppreciotion of the beautiful in life was reflected in her love of painting, her delight in a fine objet for her home, or her pleasure in exploring the Folmouth coostline during summer vocations. We shall not forget her beautifully modulated voice, which echoed her eorlier vocal training, or her gracious monner and dignified bearing. In her lost days she taught us her final lesson—one of patience ond courogo. Moy she rest in peoce. Nine
