According to tradition, on Closs Day at nine o'clock the seniors and their guests ossemble in Cloyton Ellis Holl to hear the Valedictorian and Solutotorian give their oddresses, to hcor the Closs Poem, to present the doss gift to the school, and to sing the closs ode. Outside on the campus, the ivy is planted ond the closs colors arc presented to the incoming closs. After the formal program of Class Day, seniors spend their time auto- graphing the books, taking pictures of their friends, all the while trying to suppress the sort of lonely feeling that comes with good-bye to school days.
