Blue ond white streamers, develop- ing o scheme of lamp lights and starry skies, greatly enhanced the large hall. The smooth music, the crowning of the Prom Queen ond the Grand Morch contributed much towards making the Prom the memorable affoir that it was. The success of the Prom was reword enough for the time and effort devoted by com- mitteemon Helen Churchey, Doris Horron, Robert Donovan, Lew Gifford, choirman, and Allister Whitman. Mony thanks to the faculty committee: Mr. Adams, Miss Hickey, Miss Viola Jockson, Miss Leach, Miss O'Brien, Miss Smith, Miss J. McCarthy, Mr. Cotter, Mr. Cahalan, Mr. Martin, and Mr. Colbert.

The beanie studded cam- pus throbbed with with the excitement of the gola occasion, June 6, the doy when every high school senior looked back' with pride on his individual achievements as well os those of his class. Ella Gouvin, Rose Ann Hawes, Charles Chetham. George Tuccclli. ond Thomos Dccgan, choirmon, were the members of the committee elected bv the class of 1947 to arrange a program Everything went off smoothly. The delivery of the closs oration, the singing of the class ode, and the plonting of the ivy, the small ambitious wisp that represented the hope ond ambition of every senior in the audience. There was a lighter part of the program, too. That some afternoon, seniors and faculty members flocked to Dilboy Field, where a doy never to be forgotten was rounded out successfully with the ploying of on exciting gome by our boseboll team.
