Among their memorable contributions as a group to S.H.S. were The Autumn Carnival and The junior-Senior Prom. Mr. Haldeman, class dean, and the class officers worked together to plan the Autumn Carnival, continuing the theme of the Winter Carnival they had given the year before. Later in the year, the juniors, co-sponsors of the prom, worked hard to make the most anticipated event of the year the huge success that it was. The junior class has contributed to the school notx only as a group, but also as individuals. Many outstanding athletes who made our football and wrestling teams so successful were members of the class of '55. In every organization were representatives of the junior class. We, the Class of '54, cannot regret leaving the privileges and duties of seniors to so capable a class, the class of '55. Leading the class of '55 through a successful year were Ray Porcaro, President, Sam Crosby, Vice-President, Angie Cardillo, Secretary, George Esposito, Treasurerg and Bob Herman, Social Representative.
