To do nothing in times like these is a sign of weakness and stupidity. The war is over. However, our educational tasks are far from complete. Some of our Home Front Problems lie ahead, and the solutions are still obscurel The difficulties will be challenges to the thinking people of every community. Our boys and girls are realizing, as never before, that education 18 the guiding genius of a democracy. Without education a person cannot hope to compete with an educated citizen. In this modern world, with its strong technical co petition, an u educated person is almost powerless. Probably now is the time to accomplish that certain thing that should have been done long ago. Yesterday is your judge-your enemyg tomorrow is always your true friend. Look to the future. Let us face tomorrow with a dauntless courage. Sincerely yours,
