Spring Concert Highlights The Musical Year ln the spring of l957 melodic strains filled our beautiful new gym- nasium, as the choir and band appropriately rendered their version of the harmonious selection of Melodic Caravan, the classical selection of Deep River Rhapsody, and the light and gay arrangement of Surrey with the Fringe on top. All combined in making a well-appreciated program. The program, under William E, Elwell's supervision, was light enough to be thoroughly enjoyable and classical enough to suit those seeking entertainment on a higher plane.
