The play, a three-act comedy, dealt with the problems encountered by the Maxwell family when Mother Maxwell decided the family would spend its vaca- tion at home. She reasoned the family would be well rested, but a series of events brought everyone to a state of near collapse. The cast was as follows: Wilbur Maxwell, Gary Bowman, Hercules Nelson, Tommy Jones, Betty Lou Maxwell, Violet Boleng Bernadine Smith, Linda Lorenzg Connie Maxwell, Phyllis Peebles, Mr. Maxwell, David Downey, Mrs. Maxwell, Martha Huddlestong Mrs. Brown, ,lean- ette Highleyg Mr. Brown, Dick Dragstremg Grand- father Maxwell, David Stoutg Grandmother Max- well, Nancy Emrickg Aunt Mary, Janet Shroyer, and Mr. Hinckley, Kenneth Easterday. The direc- tor was Earl L. Conn and the prompter was Sharon Miller. Stage settings were by Steve Harrison, Ames Adkins, Owen Harvey, Charles Southwick, Jim Chapman, ,lim Weimer, Martha Huddleston, and Mr. McCloskey, shop instructor. Elmer Shoemaker handled sound effects, and the Junior girls ushered.
