Captain Jeff Casey and Coach Sullivan Varsity Action The team compiled a favorable 11 win— 7 loss record while competing in a ten team Narry Baseball League. Although faced with many unexpected problems, the young Raider team showed initiative, sportsmanship, and spirit as Coach Sullivan led them to a third place tie in a tight Narry pennant race. With many of the starting nine return¬ ing and with the return of a good pitching staff, the ’67 Raiders are sure to make their presence felt as pennant contenders. 22

The Somerset High School golf team complet¬ ed its first year of varsity competition in June. The Raiders competed in the Bristol Scholastic Golf League’s western division, which is comprised from the area’s larger schools.
