SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The history of our class ' lik . . is Ve a story- book consisting of four chapters. T The story begins in the year 1943, when, under the leadership of Robert Schr k f ' ' oc , we began our activities. Besides cheering at the football and basketball of the bench games, we had a section reserved for our bench warmers The . n came the big get together-the freshman is was a milestone in Halloween Party. Th the making of friends. Chapter two began with volunteers and appointees working together to make a memorable Soph-Senior Hop. The Carni-Ball was a replica of a carnival the merry-go-round p redomin ating. Suddenly chapter three was upon us Rings were ordered and a play was in the air. Teen Daze was a play of the typ- ical teen-ager and was artistically enact- ed. Moonlight Serenade, our prom. was l tru y a big accomplishment. Our athletes were taking honors in all fields of sports, and we were becoming more important in all phases of our sehool life. Finally we came to the last and final l'rf,1 ideal chapter: a chapter which seems a little hurried, a little sad. ' were off the bench for good and were in there winning and reaching their goals for stardom. Much combing of hair, Hx- ing of makeup, straightening of ties, and hunting of one-strand pearls took lac This year our fellows . 0 ' p e for the taking of the Senior pictures. The Senior's dramatic production In A House Like This was a big success, which proves that our class has dramatic talent. VVe also h 'fact was proved to us whe members were choosen for All County and All State orchestra. Some of our class- mates also participated in the operetta The Gondoliersu. .-Xnnouncemen ave musical talent. This n some of our ts and name cards were ordered, measuring for QOXYHS, C0l'T1l'l1Cl1 endured and then came graduation. VVe are now ready to clos CL'IT1Cl'lf PFIICITCCS XVCI1' , .e the cover on this book and each of us is going his way. lfaeh will write his own story, but no matter to what heights we go as indi- viduals, we shall always be proud and grateful for the good thoughts, the 'ood fs works and th- f l A' - t goof timts we txpt rieneed as the Class of 1947.
