Maryland until August 1970 when he was ordered to duty under in- struction at the School of Navil Command and Staff, U.S. Naval War College, Newport, R.I. Upon completion of studies, Lieutenant Commander ANDERSON W85 awarded a Masters Degree in Inter- national Affairs from the George Washington University. Lieutenant Commander ANDERSON repoflfed to USS SOMERS IDDG-347 on 12' August 1971 for duty as Executive Officer. Married to the formef Karen Ann Judge of Boone, IOW8, he has a son, David and a daughter' Mary Kate.
