TTWILEGEND OF Many moons ago, my son, a great Longhouse, o'erlooking the waters of Onondaga was built for Wislako, Guardian of Wisdom and Learning. Here in this mighty Longhouse gathered the sons and the daughters of the Solvay Confederacy. I, Big Bearcat, was among the many who dwelled here. You, too, Little Bearkitten, will soon tread the same paths as did your elders. I will tell you the legend of my own Great Adventure, of the wise prophets, of my fellow braves and squaws, of the pow wows and the contests of our warriors which filled the days till I ventured into new hunting grounds.
