Cagers Spirit and Enthusiasm... TEAM CAPTAIN Bill Davidson. Hampered by the return of only one letter- man and by lack of height and speed, the Varsity cagers ended the '58-59 season with four wins and twelve losses. During the first round of competition the pace was slow, but the second round of League ploy saw several close scores. The high points of the season included the win over Cleveland South, 57-54, at the beginning of the season, and the defeat of Solon's traditional rival, Chagrin Falls, 4l-39, in a repeat encounter. Solon entered the Class AA Tournament for the first time at Bedford, losing to Gar- field Heights, co-chcmps of the Greater- Cleveland League, 55-51.
