NINE DEAR SOLDAN Foucs: In our beloved country at all times, rich opportunities are ours to be constantly growing and developing towards the attainment of utmost worthiness in ourselves, towards highest quality of achievement in our chosen fields of work, towards complete reliability in our citizenship, and towards our highest possibilities in service to our country and to humanity everywhere. There is need always for such everfcontinuing growth and development in us all. Especially clear, in these serious days, is the call to us all so to manage our lives that we do grow unceasf ingly in all these worthinesses. Surely, it is evident to us all, in these times of calamity and of gravest dangers, that we for ourselves need to be men and women moving ever from strength to new strength in all these aspects of significant living, and that our country and humanity as a whole need to ind that we are men and women of such quality. May we all everywhere tear out of ourselves all littleness, all selfish' ness, all laziness, all indifference, all dishonesty, all unreliability, all irresponsibility, all wasting of time, all misunderstanding, and, using our greatest opportunities fully, devote ourselves in all that we do every day to making all our living-our playing, our working, our thinking, our serving-just the very best that we can achieve, and ever better and better! That way lies happiness, greatness, beauty, usefulness, completeness of living. Sincerely yours, H. P. STELLWAGEN. Tl-IE SCRIP
