GYM CAPTAINS' CLUB The Gym Captains' Club was organized to promote an interest in physical education as well as for the purpose of developing good leadership. The girls assist the teacher in the direction of routine gym activities. The adviser for the club is Miss Sue Smith. --Q-ss' PEP CLUB The Pep Club organizes and conducts all means of student support to our var- ious athletic teams, Their activities range from keeping students informed as to game dates, to staging parades, bonfires, rallies, arranging travel for students, and synchronizing vocal sup- port at the games. SERVICE CLUB The Service Club is made up of students chosen from the junior and senior classes who are recommended by a club or faculty member and approved by both the faculty and club, They serve the school in directing traffic in the halls, guiding school visitors, monitoring, and assisting in the office and cafeteria. The 1959-60 officers were: President, Alton Johnson: Vice President, Jane Johnson, Boys' Captain, Roger Whitehead, Girls' Captain, Ann Newberry, Secretary, Jeanne Varnerg Treasurer, Judy Green. Mrs, Myra Millsaps is the adviser for the club.
