Bi-District Title: Another First Coach Frank Perez told the Varsity Volleyball team that they would win if they had pride. Well, it took plenty of pride and plenty of ability to do what theyMdid. After finishing second in District, the girls went up against the Burges Mustangs, winners of Dis- trict l-5A in the Bi-district playoffs. After losing the first game, and trail- ing 0-10 in the second game, the girls dug deep down to come back and upset the Mustangsg it was the first Bi-district crown ever for a Bulldog team. Esther Gonzalez and Norma Navarette made the all-District teamg Diana Delage made the second team. Coach Perez was named Coach of the Year by both the El Paso Times and the Herald-Post.
