sf 3 is K NM: qkgawkwt-isis! The 1983-84 Varsity Football Team came into the season with one main goal: to beat a 2-5A opponent. They accomplished their goal. Con- trary to the prediction of the El Paso Times. the Bulldogs came back from an 0-3 season to beat the Riverside Rangers. It was the Bulldogs' first district win since joining the 2-5A system. Al- though not expected to win this year, the Varsity Squad surprised a few people. With a lot of help from Mike Carrasco, the Socorro offense got off to a shakey start, but steadily improved each week.
