Preparing for a medical career t . i .V 1 al g2 Health Occupation Students of America is a national vocational or- ganization for secondary and post- secondary students enrolled in Health Occupations education, and interested in careers in health. The purpose of the organization is to pro- vide a means for members to deve- lop leadership qualities by partici- pating in planning meetings, social activities, and community improve- ment projects. ln addition, students participate in competitive activities, competing in skills events with stu- dents from all parts of Texas and the United States.
