' Honor Society The National Honor Society is a national student organization whose members are chosen be- cause or their outstanding charac- ter, scholarship, leadership, and citizenship. The Socorro Chapter of NHS frequently participated in community and school projects. Among other projects, the mem- bers raised money for their annual initiation ceremony and banquet. ln the 1983-84 school year the So- corro Chapter of NHS showed ap- preciable growth with the initi- ation of over thirty new members.
