Movies - ln 1983-1984 a great variety of movies appeared all around the na- tion. There were comedies, musicals and many others. Among the favorite movies this school year were the musicals Staying Alive and Flash- dance. Flashdance vqpn two Golden Globes awards, both for music, one of which was best song for Flash- dance . . . what a feeIing. The com- edy D.C. Cab starred television's fa- vorite character, Mr. T. Scarface starring Al Pacino was very popular. Terms of Endearment led all film contenders at the 41 st annual Golden Globes with four awards, including best motion picture drama award. Yentlalso received an award for best musical and best director. Other favorite movies of 1983- 1984 were War Games, Sahara, Sud- den lmpact, Christine and Cujo.
