Doing it with power The Varsity Baseball Team opened the 1984 season with a 6-3 decision over lrvin on March 1. The Bulldogs had the advantage of experienced players and good attitudes. The baseball team progressed nicely under the coaching of Leon Antwine, Most of their victories were not only due to pitching technique, but to the teams' batting power. Playing as a unit helped the team end the year with an impressive record.
