M, tm-.F With no experience whatsoever and not much size, the girl's Fresh- man Volleyball team went on the court with nothing but the desire to win. The young players learned quickly and did a great job in the 1984 season. The highlight of the season was the girls' ability and desire never to quit, explained coach Robert Roeder. Everyone in the city had a taller B-team then we, but height doesn't count when you're playing a team that is quick and smart. The girls have been practicing since sum mer. With long hours of work-outs and weight training, the girls had a successful year. Coach Brown considered Sandra Vasquez, Rene Holguin, Maria Na- varro, Lilly Reyes, Grace Herrera and Becky Acosta his best players.
