With long hours of practice after school the team accom- plished their victories against oth- er schools. According to Coach Chris Forbes, Eastwood and Riv- erside will be about their only tough competition. The outstand- ing players on the team were Alex Dominguez, Rudy Ortiz, Richie Armendariz, Leonard Montion and Louie Cabrera. 'Dogs hit the track A1 A 4 5 The track teams started their season Feb. 26 at the Burges meet. Through blis- ters and cramps, the teams worked out dai- ly to improve their skills. Coach Dale Reinhardt commented that he was pleased with the performances of Tony Morales, julio Espinoza, Martin Crose and David Herrera and the freshman and j.V. teams should do well in their divisions. In their seasons they will compete against tough runners from Burges, Hanks, Eastwood and Bel Air.
