We contemplat ou new goals We began the 1981-82 school year with as many activities as we could think of: the Blood Drive, Stock Show, Veteran's Day Pa- rade, skits for pep rallies, registra- tion, sporting activities, and many more activities. With all these ac- tivities, faculty and students pre- pared for the upcoming months. This gave us enthusiasm, inspira- tion, and hope to accomplish our goals. During the year we all gave part of our pride to make these things happen. fly Sabino Martinez proudly shows off his bacon at a livestock show. Q25 R.O.T.C. marches for the annual Veteran's Day Parade downtown. Dj Ramiro Aquirre helps the cafeteria ladies with Hal- loween make-up. With Winter at our doors, we suddenly feel the rising joy of Christmas. This year Christmas brought new and interesting ac- tivities. With the yearly visit of Santa Claus came the excitement of coming up with someone who looked like Santa. Not ever suc- ceeding, La Chispa Staff took the leading roles. As part of the play came the decoration of doors, the Christmas concert and a joyful party given by OEA to kids in an El Paso orphanage. 115 Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, Lisa Moss- man and joe Portillo, smile for elementary students. f2j Mrs. Mary Ruth Hart's room joins the Christmas spirit by entering the door-decorating contest.
