Escontrias Elementary School was rededicated Nov. 12, and re- turned to its orginal name, which has been changed many times over the years. The school was origin- ally named for the family who donated the land for the school, and the Escontrias family was hon- ored at the dedication. The district also began con- struction of Campestre Elemen- tary School, located at Socorro and Passmore roads. It will be ready for classes in the 1982-1983 school year. Two other schools will also be built and ready for classes in the 1983-1984 school year, keeping pace with the rapid growth of the district. S new 0-'J' als' ..
