Proud Bulldogs add spice For the 1981-82 yearbook dedi- cation, the El Chato staff wanted to honor someone who had con- tributed time and effort to school activities and functions. It was a very difficult decision, since al- most everyone at SHS contributes to some activity. The staff finally came up with a name we felt met our standards. We proudly dedi- cate this yearbook to the entire student body of Socorro High School. We gladly dedicate this year- book to those students who com- 8 Dedication pete for, represent,.and help So- corro High be what it 'is today. We thank those of -you who helped spread the word of a grand high school, along with the extension of the Bulldog Pride throughout El Paso. Socorro I-iigh School would have no clubs, no organizations, no activities if it weren't for stu- dent participation. There were quite a variety of organizations of- fered, including some which were new, like Choir and VICA. Some students were competitive and enjoyed going to other schools to represent Socorro in various areas. Others busied them- selves helping people and joined such groups as Key Club and Spanish Club. Still other students were involved in athletics or took up their role just being students. Each of us may very well have had different tastes and attitudes toward school functions, but all of us, joined together, form the stu- dent body of Socorro High.
