My Left to right is Charles Webster, Miguel Saldana andjoe Alvarado. 151 Eduardo Mestas and Sammy Campos work desperately on one of Socorro's school buses at the Annex Garage. Industrial Cooperative Train- ing, taught by Mr. David Sim- mons, is a new course which trains students for jobs such as auto me- chanics, color photography lab technicans, radio and TV repair, and health occupations. It can po- tentially offer training in about 150 areas. The 26 juniors and seniors em- ployed through this program at- tend regular classes halfa day and work half a day. With sponsor Ms. Margaret Cabe, Home Economic Related Occupations accomplished much. HERO, a part of F.H.A., consists of students in a pre-employment class. These students went on the elementary schools and worked with young children. HERO stu- dents also visited senior citizens at Sunset Haven with F.H.A., and at- tended the annual area and state meetings. For fund raising these students had bake sales, skating parties and sold cook books. flj Sylvia Candelaria, Terry Munoz and Sylvia Saldivar make a snowman for Christmas.
