Socorro's Student Council is no doubt one of the most important and determined clubs in the school. The club consists of repre- sentatives of other clubs who bring in news and ideas of future plans. The Student Council is sponsored by Miss Ardell Steg- man, Mrs. Kim Murphy, Ms. Do- lores Duenez and Miss Rosa Al- varez. They've helped the club along it's way through activities such as participation in the Fresh- man Orientation, being in charge of Homecoming's halftime, secret pal teacher Appreciation, Project Smile-an Alcohol awareness cam- paign- having concession stands during a few basketball games, and participation in school pride.
