Muiorettes DRUM MAJORETTE This year was Judy Anderson s first year as Soap Lake High School Drum Majorette. Judy looked very striking in her new uni- form at the head of the band in the Apple I Blossom, Lilac, Memorial Day, and Color- ama parade. She played the clarinet in the concert band. FEATURED TWIRLER Gloria Thompson, featured twirler with the band, appeared at Football and Basket- ball games, Fall and Spring concerts, and with the Marching Baud. Her spectacular routines included work with a swing flag, lighted baton and fire baton, as well as the conventional form of twirling.
