Administration Principal, RON DAHLIN To the Students of S. L. H. S, As the year draws to an end, it is time to reflect about the year's achievements. This year we can point with pride to our achievements in the academic areas. We have won honors in spelling, mathematics, and typing contests. The Science Club projects received a superior rating at a Science Fair at Central Washington College of Education. This year we continued to add to our activi- ties by introducing wrestling for the first time. During this year our athletic teams continued to improve in the number of games won and the conduct of the participants. The band has enjoyed steady improvements to the point it has become a source of pride for the school and the commun- ity. After this year the students of Soap Lake High School should be congratulated for the fine year they have given themselves, the faculty, and the community. Best wishes, Mr. Ronald Dahlin Principal of the Soap Lake High School Superintendent, WILLIAM NEWLAND This annual marks a milestone in the history of Soap Lake Schools. This year, for the first time, the Soap Lake Schools have a complete public school system from kindergarten through the 12th grade. The students, parents and teacher of the Soap Lake Schools can justifiably be proud of the many Soap Lake High School accomplishments. Outstanding records have been established in scholarship, music and athletics. It is my sincerest hope that these records will be a constant challenge to all future high school students. Best wishes, Mr. William C. Newland Superintendent of the Soap Lake Public Schools IRE NE NEWLAND Secretary
