In her classes of Plane Geometry, Solid Geometry and Trigonometry, Miss Virginia Grove instructs stu- dents in the fundamentals of these fields of higher mathematics. Solid Geometry is a study of three dimen- sional figures. Trigonometry deals with mathematical functions and other short-cuts to solving pro- blems. Jimmy Don Robinson, Mike Moffett, Jerry Guthrie, and Buddy Patterson are shown working with the slide rule. Sfaafqz '9 Mr. Rondell Cooper teaches classes in Plane Geometry and Algebra I. Plane Geo- metry is a study of those figures which may be drawn on a flat sur- faceg it requires much use of logic in solving problems. He is dis- cussing the solution a problem with Sherrell Bell,right, and Linda Gayle Miller. Mr. Ollie Peek has several classes of Algebra II. This course is mainly a continuation of the first-year Algebra course. It presents to the studentmany additional methods of solving problems using unknowns. Mr. Peek is shown he re giving Freddy Miller and Mary Ann Moffett a few helpful hints toward sol- ving a problem.
