BossERT The Snyder Law Club has become one of the most popular cluhs in the school, This organization was formed to give law Students a practical knowledge of law and to enable them to acquire the ability to think clearly. These qualities are gained through the moot trials conducted by the club memhers. A dance was held, and a farewell party was given to the graduates by the club. ?Y athematies Club The lylatheniaties Club, always active, had a full and quite interesting program during this last semester. lt inaugurated its program with the first social event of the season, a Halloween dance, successful in every respect. The club also spent a very enjoyable day at the Hotel St. George pool, one of the largest in the country, On the more serious side, the club formed a math team composed of its ace mathematicians. This team competed with similar teams from various schools iu the metropolitan area. At a recent assembly a group of slides made by the club were presented for the enjoyment and in- struction of the students, Miss Ruth Densford, the able adviser of the club, has given much invaluable assistance to the members in all their undertakings. J Spanish Club The Spanish Club was reorganized last year under Miss Rosalie Wahl. Since that time it has proved an asset to the Spanish department. It is interesting to note that a good part of each meeting is held in Spanish, thus affording the members an opportunity for practical application of the language. Often the meetings are made more enjoyable by playing games in Spanish. At various times during the term the club members traveled to New York, where they witnessed a Spanish cinema, attended the Jai-Alai matches, and visited the Spanish library. Students who have successfully completed at least one year of the language and have received recommendation from their teacher are eligible for nieinbersliip in this organization.
