From the beginning, care has been taken to Reading is impossible without words. So words must be under- stood, pronounced, spelled, and used. Words have a story to tell but to understand the story they tell, one must know the meaning of the words. Words and reading are the essential factors in foun- dation building. Science, a new and interesting subject, is started in the fifth grade. It has introduced us to a completely new world. The growing and care of the plants is one of the big projects in Science. The plants are brought .from home or grown from seeds and cuttings.
