- ZZHJ The Y-Teens is an organization ot girls 7 the purpose ot which is to help them understand one another and to teach them how to work together. The meetings are held once a month. At this meeting we discuss all busi- ness matters first, then the remainder of the meeting is given over to entertain- ment. The Y-Teens hold many events during the year. Some ot them are: The annual Christmas Dance, the Valentine Dance, a Mother's Tea, and we also help the needy in any way possible. To welcome each new group ot Freshmen, We hold a party, at which a good time is had by all, and at the end ot the year, a picnic is held for all the members of the Y-Teen organization. Kupcha Z To seek, to create, and maintain throughout the school and community a higher standard of Christian character is the goal for which the Hi-Y is striving. The l-li-Y opens its activities each year with the Initiation ceremonies for new members. lt is not only impressive but a not-to-be-forgotten experience in the lives ot the boys who are the tuture citizens ot our community. Another annual event is the Sadie Hawkins Dance. All persons attending are required to be dressed in Dog Patch style. Mr. Weaver and Mr. Cherney serve as advisors.
