The group is governed by a Cabinet of twetve girts, tive otticers and seven committee chairmen. The active year is openect with a tittte sister hiice, at which time the new Sophomore girts are guests of the ctuh. Those who wish to ioecome memiaers are recognized at a heautiiut anct inspiring canctie-iight service. The first High School dances were sponsorefi hy this ctuh. The girls not onty strive to matce tite more agreeable, happy, anct heneticiat for themselves, hut atso for their schoolmates and other associates. The uHohoe Hitch. UHarum Scarumn for Freshies, usnowhatt Dancef' Vvorship Services, and teas have heen on the program for this year. This year the activities of the Girt Reserves were opened hy Ntiss Little. assisted hy ivtiss Cove. In January, after the transfer of ivtiss Littie, Ntiss Reiser tootc over the supervision oi the ctuh. With the hetpfuiness and interest of Miss Reiser the ciuib has heen ahte to iceep up to its standard. The Girt Reserves who are saying good-bye to the ctuh wish the hest oi iucic, goodwiti, anti happiness to their successors. C HE Hi-Y Club was organized in the fall ol the year, 1938. It was organized lor the pur- H' pose ol Hcreating, maintaining, and extending through- 1' out the School and Community, high standards ol Christian characterf' The membership of the cluh was increased this term and is limited to the upper three classes. The Hi-Y Clulo is a very helpful and entertaining one. Some ol the doings of the Club were dancing, attending hockey and football games, singing iin the Senior Class Play, giving baskets to the unfortunate at Thanksgiving and Qhrist- mas, and attending different Hi-Y Conferences. The success ol these activities was due to the aid of our advisor. Mr. Sowa.
