As you have probably noticed, the name of our 1953 yearbook has been changed. THE KNOLL, the new name, was approved by this year’s annual staff in hopes that it will imply greater significance and meaning than our former name, MEMOIRS. Now, while glancing through this book, may you enjoy the cherished memories of the past year. As it grows with age, so we hope your fond- ness and devotion will grow for the 1953 KNOLL. DEDICATION We are grateful for the sincere interest she has shown in her students and her school. So it is with deep appreciation of her guidance, loyal service, co-operation, and friendship that we dedicate this book to Mrs. Annie Mock Hart, whom we, the Seniors, will always remember as our last year ' s devoted English teacher and class co-sponsor. Jn W. of Mar u n n i n q ha f who was a member of this year’s graduating class from 1946 to 1952. Harry left school that year to serve his country in the Navy. While still a sailor, he was striken with disease and died. Now, as we graduate into life, let us remember him who also graduated into God’s heavenly kingdom. FACULTY Mr. H. J. Beeker, A. A. .
