Mrs. Mary W. Christman, and Ralph Warren !Zn EclicatCon The moral status of a community is measured by the integrity of its citizens. This high school world judged by that standard has been richly blessed through its leaders. Among those who have blazed the trail for permanency of things of the spirit is one who after 26 years of service in the schools of North Carolina was stricken at his post in this school where he began his service in 1938. He it was, who, by his sympathy, his respect for Truth, his pure Christian character, his interest in our welfare, his unselfish service, inspired us, as he did students before us, to live true to the ideals of our predecessors. It is with the deepest respect for his love and devotion that we, the class of 1949-50 of Snow Hill School, dedicate this second volume of THE MEMOIRS to MR. O. H.
