A. W. S. Many enjoyable evenings of entertainment were planned for the women of the student body by the AWS officers. Charm night, the Mothers’ and Daughters’ Banquet, the Preference Ball, and Cotton Week were main activities. Record hops and the monthly presentation of the Co-ed of the Month held the enthusiastic interest of the student body. Officers were Ellen Johnson, President; Kathleen Nielson, Vice President; Camille Johnson, Secretary; Bonnie Oman, Activity Manager. Special guests Mrs. Daryl Chase, Mrs. Floyd Holm, and Dean Phyllis Snow welcomed the mothers and daughters to the annual A.W.S. banquet. ?i A.W.S. officers hosted Mrs. Lucile Petty and Mrs. Clark at Charm Night.
