Lester B. Whetten Director's Messoge College days are filled with living, as well as preparation for future living. It is hoped that each student in attendance at Snow College this year will have dipped deeply into the opportunities offered in both, for we realize that opportunities grasped unveil the highways leading to progress and success. You have been given many varied and stimulating opportunities for different types of experience, which are desirable in the development of wholesome personalities. Youth is like a living, breathing plant. From the first delicate fruit it bears, we glimpse the possibilities of the future. Great minds have purposes and others have wishes. A strong youth, like a strong plant, will steadfastly push forward to his goal of rich and fruitful maturity. Character and strength come from struggle. Like the diamond, one becomes valuable only after the most painstaking toil and effort has brought about the desired polish and uncovered the true beauty of the character within. No man has ever been able to create anything greater than his own character. We hope that during the past year, we have been instrumental in inspiring each student, and that the doors which have been open on our campus will enable each to develop to its greatest capacity in the future.
