Construction FOUR G A Moore Superintendent Hal Moe Assistant Supernnvendenv Maurice Hedlund Vce principal I know a fellofv who always complains about his gas mileage or how un even his Tires wear He starts across The state without checking his gas Tank or The ol gauge In The city he drives like mad and Then waits for The Traffic light To change On The highway he charges in To The oTher fellows lane weaving in and out Then he wonders Why he isnt getting better results Probably There are some of us in school who make The same mis akes I-lave you ever asked yourself Am I one who prepares carefully or do I charge reck lessly ahead Taking The short cuts The risks and The supposedly easier way? WYZ Life is a lourney which starts on a narrow path As you progress Through The elementary school The paTh broadens To a road The road in Turn becomes a four lane highway as The complexities of high school and adolescence hit you at The same time Now at graduation you must venture onto The freeway This will be a new exciting experience You will have To be alert patient and courTeous. You will find that you Cannot believe implicitly The signals given by your fellow Travelers. Failure To follow The lessons learned along The paths and smaller highways will spell disaster on The freeway. I wish you luck in The perilous iourney ThaT lies ahead. Pm I getting The results that l should? 75-ez Qffae Highways lead somewhere they are The main arteries for The movement of people and goods. We have arterial highways and super highways. When I hear The word highways I Think of Travel vacation Time new places and new faces. When Traveling on Them we have a purpose wiTh definite goals in mind wan- dering aimlessly can be fatal. During The past years you have been Traveling Through school with a purpose and definiTe goals in mind, Your Teachers and counsellors have been here To give you a sense of direction, clarify your goals, and To see that you res ceive The knowledge that opens new doors To new worlds.
