Kla- 7a-We Gamm ANNUAI. STAFF In four years of high school so many Things happen that you never want to forget. That certain friend whom you may never see again after graduation is so dear. How vivid will it be a few years from now? Will it be easy for you to recall all the fun you had in Sno- homish High? The annual staff works each year for the students of S.H.S. They have the seniors in mind for the most part, for the latter are leaving-leaving with many memories. At first graduation is a big event, no more school, but then the end of the year nears. The last month the days rush by. Where did they go? You wanted to trade a picture with him, and you just never got around to it. When he walks up to get his diploma, it may be the last time you will ever see himl The idea gives you a qu er feeling. Farewell Kla Ta Wa is a word o much meaning lt means the annual will be more rm portant to you in a few years for you can glance over the pictures and live four wonder ful years once again You will then realize what a great influence high school was The annual staff has a sp cial feeling toward its publication Although it is work for us it is also pleasure We hope it will also bring back wonderful memories in a way you enloy IOO Thank you BARBARA ANDERSON EDITORIAL At last the yearbook is out, and we are very glad that it is a successful one. We would like to express our thanks to the following: Miss Fowler, who has spent many hours ad- vising the staff on the production of the an- nual, Crown Studio, lMr. and Mrs. Allerdice and Betty Winstonl who worked very hard in getting the pictures printed for the girls to mount, Mr. T. E. Dobbs and Snohomish Tri- bune, Wards Bindery and Art Craft of Seattle, the students of S.H.S. who wrote the explana- tions on the pictures, Mrsr Blatt, who advised the students on the write-ups, and the hard- working iuniors and seniors on the annual staff, who have spent many hours on their assignments. The yearbook is a glimpse of all the things that we have done during the great year of 1951. The Seniors we hope years from now will look into their annuals and reminrsce about the best years of their lives in high school We in the annual staff have tried to use everyones suggestions to make the Kla Ta Wa different and better lt takes time and much patience to complete a large protect like the yearbook Throughout our work w have enloyed every moment and we are very proud to make this annual an engoyable one to all of you Thank you OLIVA BOITANO Co Editor Kla Ta Wa Co Editor Kla Ta Wa LEFT TO RIGHT BACK ROW Sharon Collins Marlene Morgan Ellen Olson Arlene Carlson June Durlrng Barbara Olson Barbara Anderson Oliva Bo tano Norma Henrrckson Lenora Bu n Miss Ruth Fowler Sharon Geithman Alice Chenuer LEFT TO RIGHT FRONT ROW Margaret 'VlcGrnnness B lerly Srroh Sally Wnson Garlen Johnson Sally lllman Arline Johnson Bettv Gemmer Maxine G mble Shirley Klokk vold Co I drtors B rr'r rr r Anderson Ollk r Port mo PICTUIL Editors Oln 1 Bolt mo P w rlx S r h MKDUHTIDL Alrce Qhenrer f rrlee Johnson Q N' I I ,, l ,,.
