FORE ORD This is a day of speed. People are busy filling every day to the maximum with activities. They are fearful of losing one precious second in this race for time. People demand speed, for speed it must be to keep up with our age. Perhaps the busiest of all people is the student. Every minute of every day is specified for a particular task. There is the consistency of daily classes, the rush to meet deadlines, and the fight to keep up with daily studies and to never lag behind. Then, there is the flurry of social activities-the club meetings, the dances, the basketball games. Everything and everyone is in a hurry, for it is demanded. While everyone else was busy being in a hurry, we were busy compiling this book to capture those times that were special. Those times that, possibly, everyone was too busy to dwell upon and to cherish, then. Here they are, those memo- ries that the mind only had time to photograph, not develop. Here is the chance for them to make a com- plete picture. Sit down take your time and remember. The Pines Staff 1969 4 --mu.-.,,,,,,w.,.,,, TABLE OF CONTENTS l. Introduction ll. Administration lll.
