he Smoky Hill Foreign Language Department has excelled in academics by making the 1983-84 school year a more fulfilling one for both the teachers and the student body. The teachers have created a more enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere by adding diversity to the teaching curriculum. They put extra effort on the creative aspects of learning. One teacher did a unit devoted to Latin America and its heritage, while another teacher took students on a trip to Spain. All in all, each of the foreign language teachers made the 1983-84 school year an extremely successful and enjoyable one for all.
