Tommy Linder, and Vernon Strickland Gu2 new classmates were: Loretta ellum, 'deer Black, George Kinsey, Hoy McAlh ney, and Franklin Hickman Our teacher was Mrs Mildred Smith. We gained Dorothey Mae Spoil in our seventh year. Beeson tpught us. Mrs M. In the eight grade we were joined by a large number of new students: Carroll Bennett, Effie Breland, L. C Breland, Mildred Breland, L Tiielca«Ltty--Bud Scoggins, Jake Williams, Mitchell Garris, ahdC at.ty Ruth Wilson. Our new teachers ware iss Vernell Herndon, Miss Jean “Ganders, and Mrs, Helen Farrell As Freshman in high-school Carroll Bennett left us and we had five instructors: Mr. C. B Polk, Mrs. C B. Polk, Mrs. Helen Farrell, Miss Hose Mary Vam, and Mr. Edward Strickland. In the Sophomore class we lost Elise binder, Janet Max-ay, and Marshall Smith. Our teachers were: Mr. S- H, Roberts, Mrs.- Doris Villis, Mr. T. W Copeland, and Miss Hose Mary V rn. Carroll Bennett rejoined us in ite Junior class but Thelma ewltt, label Craven, and Boy McAlhaney left us Mrs. Helen Farrell, Mrs Audrey Berry, Mrs. Doris Willis, Mr. Ernest Beeves, and Mr. E. H. Roberts taught us I As a Senior M xey Grey Murdaugh dropped out and .Ocie Kinard joined us. Mrs. Audrey berry, Mrs. T. J Hayden, Miss Rose Mary Varn, Mr. V. 4 , Brandenburg, Mr. Charles Ltoudemire, and Mrs Mildred were our Instructors- Fifteen of us will graduate on May SB, 1953. 8
