At our first meeting we made a clean sweep of current business and selected our ring and play committees. After much argument and discussion we decided to buy our rings, which are simply designed in comparison with others, from the Balfour Company. The committee selected t'Those Websters as our play. Ably directed by Mrs. Ramseyer and after rnuch hard Work, we succeeded in producing a very successful play even though March 25, the day it was given, turned out to be very snowy, Soon after this We began preparing for Myrus, which came out very successfully. The Junior- Senior Banquet was given May 7 and was greatly enjoyed by all. After some hard work, a few flag-fights, and lots of fun the year ended happily for all. 26

Gene Kauffman, president of Kauffman Rubber Company, which specializes in mudflaps, and his wife Jo Etta Haley are just arriving with their carload of kids. With them is Grace Rehm, stenographer for the company. Now arriving are Verna Lower, housewife, and Marilyn Shaffer, co-owners of Clinton I.G.A. Store, and Shirley Swisher a model. With them are Clarence Weygandt, who owns an elevator in Marshallville and his private secretary, Florence Hartzler. Marion Falb, editor of the Smithville Sun Tely, is interviewing Jim Musser on the new type of potato he developed with the help of Earnest Rehm, a scientist at the Experi- ment Station. Also being interviewed is Anita Buchwalter, the technical assistant. Shirley Gordon, a professional photographer is taking pictures. Janice Sargeant, horse-trainer for the Ringling Bros. Circus, has arrived with her Ten- nessee Walkers for the children to ride, With her are Dennis the Menace fBrillhartJ a clown, and Steady Eddie, QManiJ the lion tamer who are going to entertain us this afternoon. Betty McCay and Phyllis Hochstetler .must leave early to catch their boat for Africa where they will join a safari to hunt wild game and take pictures for Walt Disney. As we look around we can see Gloria Perret, soloist, and Pearl Ault, organist for the Billy Graham Organization. Janice Olson, chief buyer for Woolworths is placing the decora- tions on the table. As she finishes, Mrs. Hohenshil calls us all to dinner. After we have eaten, we enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and discussion of old times.
