If you are wondering why the class of ’87 has survived as long as it has, it is because of PROFESSOR RANDY KEISS’ amazing miracle drug, made in his lab on top of Boktuklo Mountain. This drug prevented the ever expanding threat of AIDS, but prolonged life indefinitely. Along with Randy is his assistant DR. ANDREA HENSLEY, who was the first “guinea pig’’ of the “Wonder Drug’’ and because of an error in chemistry, she is now the local mutant. Smithville in the recent years has become a nationally known town because of several TV personalities - a few of which are SUZY SMITH, better known as Sue Wee Herman, who stars in the Saturday morning show called “Pee and Sue Wee’s Playhouse.’’ Also here tonight is JARROD JOHNSTON, who co-stars with his father in America’s 1 fishing show “The World of Virgil Johnston.” Now pulling up in his yellow limo is JASPER WALKER, better known as “Oral Walker” who was adopted by Oral Roberts as his “lost son, and with him is his associate, SISTER DEE JOHNSON, who helps Brother Walker continue Oral’s traditional appeal for 8 million. Now arriving behind them in an ancient green chevy is “DARRIN AND KEVIN TOON”, who now make their living doing Doublemint commercials, after unsuccessfully opening a chain of super hair-grow salons, which later had to close because the clients all ended up bald. In her jet mobile is CINDY SAMUELS, who now has her own gossip column in the Smithville Evening Post. Another well-known duo is LATISHA BOWLIN AND HARLAN LUDLOW. They have taken over Dr. Ruth’s personal advice program. LaTisha will now be saying, “Hello, you’re on the air.” The show is seen in 19 different countries and audioed in 16 different languages. Flying in from Washington, D.C. is SENATOR SCOTT McBROOM. Scott, after killing the world record turkey, has sent a bill to congress to save all wild turkeys, and make it the national bird. And look who’s coming around the corner, SHEILA CUNNINGHAM and her gypsy wagon. She makes her rounds everyday around the thriving metropolis of Smithville looking for things that gypsies look for. And now here comes the only public official to be elected in the history of the United States for 3,000 consecutive terms, MAYOR JUNIOR BRUCE. Now that most everybody is present, we would like to congratulate the graduating class of ’87 who went on to become teachers of our young people. First, we would like to thank BRIAN WATSON for taking over the Speech and Drama department at Smithville, after spending 10 years as a speech writer for the President in Washington, D.C. Also, we would like to give thanks to BOB JORDAN for becoming Smithville’s music teacher only after failing his life-long ambition to be a rodeo clown. And DOUG JAMES became Smithville’s finest and most respected Art and Humanities teacher. And look, there is Mrs. JAQUITA (PARNELL) BROWN and her husband Pat with their five children. Jaquita is a very successful diesel mechanic and has her own shop in Smithville. We would also like to recognize BOBBY HARTLEY who was kicked out of West Point Academy after two weeks because he could never find his classroom. And finally we would like to thank KIM FOSTER for blowing up 2,332 balloons in less than 12 hours for decorations, which, by the way, was a world record (and people say she blows hot air). And last, but not least, we should all thank CINDY LEET for loaning the money to the class from her Swiss bank account to make this all possible. The Senior class would like to leave the Junior class with a few of their best qualities: BRIAN WATSON wills Danny Wiley his I.D. so he can get into the Kandlelight. DARRIN TOON wills Kent Looney the ability to go to Mena without racing anyone at the traffic lights. KIM FOSTER wills Sandra Dismuke the ability to stay out of the subways. She also wills Lambert Foster the ability to gain some weight. . . ................... , _ , ANDREA HENSLEY wills Trudy Pollard the ability to know her left from her right without having to ask someone first. RENEE LEET wills Phyllis Phillips and Stephanie Goings the ability to settle down and be straight. LATISHA BOWLIN wills Joe Smedley and Gary Page the ability to receive instructions, carry them out. and not get blamed for Lee Brown’s failures. She also wills Priscilla Bohanan the ability to give a dramatic monologue and take it seriously. JARROD JOHNSTON and SCOTT McBROOM will Lee Brown the ability to pitch a game without giving up a homerun. JAQUITA PARNELL wills Jesse Parsons the ability to make it through next year without missing a day. She also wills Billy Bailey the ability to stay with one girlfriend for more than a month. SHEILA CUNNINGHAM and JAQUITA PARNELL will Jason Parnell the ability to make it through next year without SCOTT McBROOM wills the baseball team the ability to make it to state. RANDY KEISS and JUNIOR BRUCE will Marvin Freeman the ability to go to the finals and come back without needing a can of Raid. LATISHA BOWLIN wills Neal Charlton the ability to put tapes inside his car instead of on top. The SENIOR GUYS will Sandra Dismuke back to Billy Don. DARRIN AND KEVIN TOON will Phyllis Phillips the ability to come to school one day without a hickey. And last but not least, to those juniors who feel they have the ability to follow in our footsteps GOOD LUCK, because it can t be done. Flashbacks to “FOREVER” MEMORIES Tonight a curtain closes, And we take a final bow, To the four years we have spent Which are slowly ending now. But let time stop this evening, For just an hour or two As we recall the memories That seem, right now, too few.
