Class Prophecy of ’77-’78 In the summer of 1998, our beloved Smithville and school is now under 100 feet of water, due to the Sheridan Dam. Our local millionaire is none other than Jay McCauley and his wife Tamara (Smith). They own a huge, glass bottomed yacht. And as a twenty year reunion they have invited their former classmates for one last look at their school. Old” Mr. Capehart, now gouty in both feet, sits in a wheel chair calling the roll for one last time. Let’s see what they have become. MIKE GREEN—Is now a scuba diver with a huge helmet that he refuses to take off because it covers his cowboy hat. CHERYL BLAYLOCK-She is happily married to Rex Blaylock and has triplets who are almost grown. So she has a part time job modeling for middle aged people. SHAREE MOORE—This flirting prone girl is now a nun who teaches ghetto children. But she is still quite happy with her nickname DIESEL. VICKI YOUNG-This girl is now married to MARK FOWLER who owns a cocktail lounge in Chicago and they have five short people. DENNIS HENSLEY—He is now a janitor in the new Smithville school and runs a few cows on the side. JOHNNY POLLARD—This far reaching man is now a director for a big film corporation and always wears dark glasses, smokes a big cigar, and constantly smiles. ALAN JONES—Is now an American History teacher in the new Smithville school and most always plays hookey from his own classes. STELLA BOYD—She owns a health spa and fat farm because, believe it or not, she once tipped the scales at 250! But she is now back to her old slim self. DIANE WALKER—This one is now following the moon children and sports long black hair with a skunk stripe for effect. JIMMY WILSON—He manages a chain of Jumbo Restaurants but was caught embezzling. So he was locked up in the pen for 5 years with no hamburgers! VIRGINIA WATSON—Just to show life’s mysterious tricks, this girl is now the new Cheryl Tiegs. YULA LUDLOW—And true to form, this beauty is one of Charlie’s new Angels. He decided to go for all brunettes this time. FRAN FAIRLESS—It seems everyone is striking it rich lately. Fran, the newly cele- brated Barbara Streisand, has just completed her film, “The Star Has Died.” GLENDA GROGAN—Glenda and hubby are doing fine these days. They now own a huge mansion and she heads a committee to clean up Brusheridge. DARREL PHILLIPS—This man is hitting it high as the retired Mr. Universe and now makes his living as a famous jockey, while wife Suzzanne shows off her prize lambs. TOMMY PHILLIPS—He was a dedicated hermit after a brief marriage to Becky. We hired a team of mountain climbers to hunt him out, but he was glad to come because he hadn’t had a bath in 15 years. ROBERT BUSH-This one is a respected chief in a reservation and is known as Chief Puffing Pipe. NILES SMITH-He is the champion Foosball player and is married to SHERRY BRAN- SON who is a famous artist with the ever present Mr. Watson as her manager. TERRY FREEMAN-He is a big Baptist preacher who travels from revival to revival with wife Melinda. BRAD LOWRIE—Is another Burt Reynolds, only not so conceited. His latest film is titled “Gator-Aid.” CHARLIE SAMUELS-Has undoubtedly taken the place of Commander Ken and is now called Charlie the Tuna. YOGI (STEVE) SMITH-This man is a famous men’s clothes designer for high waisted Wranglers. And we’re sure you will be happy to know he is making millions. MRS. PHYLLIS TOON—She is doing quite well these days as an English teacher and specializing in speech therapy for slow students. VIOLET THOMASSON-She is now married to an African and specializes in raising African Violets. KAREN GOING—Is now a tough woman in Congress and is currently Speaker of the House. VIVIAN LAWRENCE—As you can readily believe, this woman is still showing pictures of Vanessa, who is now Miss World. JOYCE KUYKENDALL—She is happily married and now owns a crocodile farm in Louisiana. EARNEST BOND—This quiet man is now a cruel hit man for the mafia. AARON BAILEY—He owns the new, improved Barnum Bailey Circus. GREG CUNNINGHAM-Is still driving his million dollar antique pick-up, which was extinct years ago. RICKY BATCHELOR-Last but not least, we are honored to have the President of the U. S. with us. Who would have thought Ricky had the brains or the money? Well, they've been here almost a week and this is their last day. So they decide to dive down and celebrate the end of their reunion by dynamiting the old school building. This, of course, causes a tidal wave, which calls for a rescue team. The first one called was Tom Glenn but he couldn’t make it because his self-designed helicopter wouldn’t get off the ground. So it was left to Mr. Mowdy, who came riding in on his rhinestone sea serpent, Kate. Aided by the ever present Ms. Williams and her 12 kids. With Mrs. Hensley waving a pink nylon flag to direct them ashore. So all is well in the end and we hope you enjoyed your reunion .
